If you run with the YW crew, than you've heard Ian Boyd. The resident DJ at Ella on Fridays and Gallery Bar on Saturdays, and a feature at some of the cities most prestigious nighttime establishments (Southside, Marquis, and Su Casa to name a few), you have almost definitely fist-pumped your way through one of his sets- powerful mixes of hip hop, pop and dance, adorned with well-blended mixes and technically impressive turntableism. Ian combines downtown avant-gardism with Jersey party-boy flair. Here is a three hour set that Mr. Boyd recorded on the 27th of September. It's a seemingly flawless amalgamation of all kinds of songs that make us want to drink; perfect for a libation-heavy pregame.
