Today is C-Day kiddos (Che-Day... no?). At 1pm today, That Dude and I will be sitting in the Zeigfield theater on 54th street, watching all 4.5 glorious hours of the movie "Che," that is being released today only (until it's January 29th premiere). My love for the guerilla-man is obviously palpable, and I will mark this momentous event by bringing my camera, taking pix of people on the line and berating all of them for their hypocrisy in wearing $330 designer jeans and diamond earrings to see a movie about a man that would have taken upir wealth, sold it, and donated the proceeds to the revolution and hold not one misgiving or afterthought about it. Look for pictures of the event this coming Monday.

one thing about exspensive clothes in this city is that they arent a good measure of income. there are people that live in the worst neighbourhoods, earning minimum wage that wear more exspensive clothing than me. i don't think che would have jacked a member of the proletariate because he had jordans and sevens, as such materialism is more a reflection of socialization than of personal greed. the vast majority of people who have grown up in western society (you, me, and a young che included) are too acquisitive of the tangible, with very rare, and usually socially dysfunctional heterodoxic exceptions. i think che would have attacked the root causes and let the rest of us follow the example by which he led.
*with which he led maybe?
