Pic of the Day Redux

Probably should've gone with this as 'Pic of the Day,' but didn't see it till I read the Post this afternoon on my way to work.

This topless picture, along with several others, emerged yesterday in Britain's News of the World, but they're from a 2007 video shoot for Britney's single "Gimme More."

For those of you don't remember, myself included, the video -- shot during the period of the singer's foray into insanity -- featured a brunette Spears pole-dancing in a strip-club setting, while a blond Britney enjoys the show from the bar.

According to a representative for the photog who snapped the titillating pics, Britney was going to use the snap shots to promote her video. She, or more likely her handlers, decided against that after seeing the photos.

Oh, and don't worry, the rose tattoos on her breasts are temporary.
