Ramnaresh Sarwan
At the age 28 years, 228 days he became the youngest West Indian to reach the 5000 runs milestone when he scored a century against England in Jamaica. In the 2009 home series against England, in scoring his 13th Test match century Sarwan equalled the record for the most centuries in the fourth innings - a record he shares with Sunil Gavaskar and Ricky Ponting.

Frances McDormand
Frances was born in Chicago, Illinois and was adopted by the McDormands, a Canadian couple: Noreen, a registered nurse and receptionist, and Vernon, a Disciples of Christ pastor. Frances has said that her biological mother may have been one of the parishioners at Vernon's church.

word, professor tholamus is correct, that is Saigon. Bleek also killed it on hey papi, but good call on the highest ratio of richness to popularity.
if you're in a high enough echelon within you're livelihood to be known outside of it, chances are you are more than mediocre. frances mcdormand has been nominated for four oscars and won one. memph bleek is pretty regs, but that other dude sounds nasty. cricket is revered in the commonwealth, particularly in its periphery (2-3 billion fans worldwide), to a point that it is really hard to hate on the talent and drive of a proffesional cricketeer, let alone a star.
