Four Reasons Why the Beautiful Swimmers are Cool

1) Beautiful Swimmers is an amazing name for anything, let alone a pair of male, Maryland based djs that make disco...(although I guess if they were two bikini cladden dimes that would be cooler, whatever)
2) Their music is very traditional, as opposed to artists like Moulinex or Ginobli (who I like a lot) who make music which is heavily influenced by disco but really disco house, Beautiful Swimmers sound like they just stepped out of a time machine from 1979, armed only with their demo.
3) The video for their single "Oh Yea" is great.

4) They posted this video of wilder extraordinaire Alexander Ovechkin (hat trick last night) on their myspace, and I think that a healthy obsession with Ovie is a good thing.
