YW's favorite Hip Hop band (aside from these cats) The Roots, are going To be holding it down at New York City's Highline Ballroom for a while, as they settle into a residency that will last through June. It will be called "The Jam" (rumor has it special guests will abound) and tickets will only cost $10! The Roots will be retiring from touring shortly after this as the band (sans Black Thought) will be serving as the back-up band for Late Night with Jimmy Fallon.
