In Sully We Trust: Audio From the Hudson River Plane Landing

I'm convinced. Sully is God. And if you don't know who Sully is at this point, you can go lick a Honey Badger's ass.

In an audio recording released today (it's in the video above), you can hear a tense, lightning-fast scramble as controllers tried to arrange an emergency landing before losing touch with the Airbus A320 after it ditched into the Hudson River. While the controller seems a little nervous, Sully sounds calm and composed, which just goes to show what a g this dude is. I mean, he was facing imminent death and the guy sounds like he could be enjoying an ice cream cone on Jones Beach.

Shit is so gangster, I might have to reconsider naming my first child Purple Haze. Sully Haze works just as well, anyway.
