I agree that he's been soft. I think he had this hope that he could actually bring people together, and rebuke the ideological gridlock that has left the American system practically broken since the 60s. He is young, and has not been in the scene long, and I think we are seeing a steep learning curve. That being said, he is a brilliant dude and is very quickly learning what it takes to get things done. He's already been playing way more offense this week, and I'd expect him to keep the heat on going forward.; February 11, 2009 at 12:21 PM
