From Eddy Grant's 1982 anthem to the hyper and obscure Lio Xtian rework of Where's Your Head At, I am extremely happy with this playlist. Electro classics, fun Euro-pop, a few random but goodie hip hop joints, several great remixes; this is a fantastic 21 song collection that is best served with a genorous portion of binge drinking. I am planning on going to the Bulgarian Bar on Ludlow for MeanRed's Flashing Lights party celebrating Nick CatchDub's (Fools Gold) bday. The Valerie Collective is at Webster Hall. Antik is popping of again tonight, and if you feel so inclined, you should stop by Gallery Bar and fuck with Kirsch while he works the door (just kidding, if you do stop by there, give him a hug or a pound or something). The tracklisting follows the embedded playlist. Have a fun weekend.

tron, i usually fucks with your music tastes HARD BODY. but i'm seriously buggin with the lauryn hill pick on the 'pregame playlist'.
don't get me wrong, lauryn is ill. but if i'm tryin to get hyped to go out i'm not throwin on to good to be true, my bad. that could go on the post sex mix or the proposing marriage mix, but not the pregame mix. you buggin.
the rest of the mix is hot fire tho
point duly noted.
my association of that l boogie song with pregaming dates back to 2004, when in my old house (fondly remembered as the rat palace), a dozen or so drunken people were all in request of this very song. after attempting to play it from both of the resident copies of miseducation, which were damaged and unusable, we dishearteningly put on power 105. and miraculously, "cant take my eyes off you" was just starting. quite a fond memory.
