NEW SHIT, NEW SHIT: Diplo Remix, Guns 'N' Bombs w Para One, Switch w Les Rhythmes Digitales, and a Yuksek album

Got some good shit today. Props to myself for finding all this brand new music. Okay enough self-love, here we go.
Dance Area- AA 24/7 (Diplo Remix)
The Swiss act (what up Geneve) Dance Area makes pretty decent, heavy house, which is the kind of shit that Diplo should be remixing. Wes Gully (Diplo's old rap name) tends to lack bottom in his remixes, but starting with a track as bassy as AA 24/7 eliminates his tick tick and no boom inclination. Not amazing, but worth a listen.

Guns 'N' Bombs- Riddle of Steel (Para One Remix)
I love both Para One and Guns 'N' Bombs. This Riddle of Steel remix has a bit of a boring intro, and I think that each of its parts are a bit too long, but it still has a cool, varying arrangement, and a wonderful collection of sounds.

Les Rhythmes Digitales- Jacques your Body (Switch Remix)
I think I like the original more but this version is quintessential Switch. Kind of annoying actually.

Yuksek- Away From the Sea (Album)
The new Yuksek album dropped on Monday or does next Monday (depending where you live). This is the kind of music I am really fucking with in 2009. It is pleasant and fun without being silly, danceable without being abrasive, intricate yet approachable, futuristic while drawing obvious influences from decades past. I'm gonna call it Electro-Disco. Here is So Down with Chromeo.

Also, Southern Bell Rell put me on to the Junkie XL track Stratosphere yesterday. It is from March, but is probably the best song in this post.
