Yesterday, a report was released that a team of mad scientists roaming the jungles of Southeast Asia had discovered more than 1,000 new species (or species thought to be extinct) over their decade-long adventure. The "dragon millipede" (pictured here) was discovered around the Mekong River, an area we now know is filled with freakish blood thirsty beasts. Scientists suggest the millipede uses its bright color to warn predators of its toxicity (it spits cyanide, kind of like this dude).
