Cheney Indicted for... I can't finish this sentence

The above video is a news clip reporting the indictment of President Dick Cheney (No typo, he is the Pres as far as I'm concerned). The information about the indictments have not become public yet, but basically the breakdown is as such: He holds financial interests in a private prison company through Vanguard (financial services company), and used his influence to halt an investigation into the brutal murder of an inmate, apparently abetted by prison guards (dude was beaten to death by 3 inmates using padlocks stuffed in socks, wilding!). Here is the NYTIMES LINK.

As usual under the Bush Administration, justice comes second to their own interests. How evil/greedy is Cheney? Dude is going to go back to work for Haliburton on January 21st, 2009 and will get a FAT check for all of the contracts he hooked them up with. But that's not enough, he needs to protect his all of his financial interests and thereby erode the foundations of our judicial system in the process. This is more than just arrogance, this is corrupt and anti-democratic.

But hey, it's the Bush Administration and what else is new. We've been so hyped about Obama for the past two years we forgot that the grimiest cats in all of politics are still running the country. Being that this is Cheney, he will definitely get off. Great. If anyone wants to know the score for the past 8 years, its American People 0, Bush/Cheney/Uber-Elite 7,674.
