One of the worst fashion trends of our time, rocking pants below your ass with exposed boxers and shiny skull belt buckles, has taken over as the mandatory attire for cool kids. If there ever was a trend that started out as relaxed and unintended that eventually became the epitome of uniformity, complacency, and overall lack of style, this would be it. Bill Cunningham, of the NY Times, takes an objective and hate-free look at this trend:

Obviously, I'm extremely biased, but he gives a nuanced and interesting account of these two opposing tastes. Say what you want about how he sounds, I'm feeling him.
